After 15 years in the manufacturing sector, Chris decided was looking for a change and started The Barney Advisory Group.  Chris thought that the skill-set learned in numerous roles within both large and small organizations would translate nicely into a consulting firm specializing in project management, continuous improvement and corporate guidance.

Since 2010, Chris has led The Barney Advisory Group in numerous large projects throughout Ohio.  Some highlights include:

  • Patient Centered Medical Home transformations of numerous independent physicians
  • $70 Million food manufacturing facility enhancements and expansion
  • Information Technology expansion reaching 50 plus locations and 1100+ physician offices

Chris has led and worked with numerous industries that include companies such as: General Motors, Honda Motor Company, Nestle, University Hospitals, James B. Oswald Companies, Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Parker and Robert Bosch.

He also holds a United States Patent for an invention now used globally which utilizes advanced technologies and robotics.  He has made presentations on ingenuity, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives at conferences for the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).

Outside of the office:
Chris resides in Parma with his wife, Mandy, and their 5 year old son, Brodrick and 2 year old daughter Nicole.  In Chris’s downtime he enjoys running, biking and working out in the gym.  Chris is a (not so proud season) ticket holder of the Cleveland Browns, but nonetheless still loves Cleveland sports.  Chris enjoys the Cleveland dining and entertainment scene and is a huge supporter of Ohio City and both the Gateway and Warehouse districts in Cleveland.
